In order to rent with International Car Rental, renter must hold a valid drivers license. Qualified provisionary and temporary licenses are accepted upon manager approval. International & foreign licenses are also accepted.
All major credit cards are accepted. We also accept debit cards with Visa & Master Card logos. (Cash Deposits are accepted by special arrangements with authorization by a Management.)
Drivers must be at least 21 years old! Additional drivers must present a valid driver's license and sign the rental agreement. International Car Rental waives the under age driver fee for drivers between the ages of 21-24 and the additional driver is always free!
In California, the renter is liable for all damages to the rental vehicle regardless of fault, the renter is responsible for the safe return of the rental vehicle in the same condition as it was rented, International Car Rental provides you, the renter and authorized driver a way to minimize your responsibility & offers peace of mind in case of loss or damage to the rental vehicle with full coverage already included at the time of your rental.
Vehicles are restricted to the area for which you have stated in your contract at the time of your rental. Your Insurance coverage is issued based upon your destination.
Reservations are valid and honored for up to 4 hours after the requested pick up time. If the rental car or vehicle is not picked up within the 4 hours of the requested pick up time your reservation status will be charged as a NO SHOW. We ask you contact International Car Rental if you need to change the pick up time to avoid any unnecessary charges Cancellations are accepted 48 hours prior to requested pick up time.
International Car Rental offers shuttle services at a lower rate compared to other transport services to San Diego /Tijuana Airports, Shuttle service down to Baja, Free shuttle service to local hotels and Child Safety Seats are available upon request with no additional charge. GPS units can also be added.
